Dr Steinberg and staff are just amazing. They ensure you are heard, and any issues concerns are addressed before you leave. Dr Steinberg is kind and looks at all options of how to help and get me back to where you were before the pain. If you need help with your shoulder, elbows of hands Dr Steinberg is the doctor you need to see.

When giving a review I will tell it like it is, bad or good. I started out with one Orthopedic Clinic only to find their concerns were not for the patient. I closed my account with them, and I made an appointment with Dr. Bruce Steinberg.
I had spent many nights with shoulder pain averaging two hours sleep a night. I made my appointment with Dr. Steinberg and was surprised that I actually got to see him and not a Physician’s Assistant (PA). I found that other clinics have you see a PA only. If the PA determines you need to see a Doctor, then they schedule you. PAs are not Doctor’s. I want a Doctor to see me. I was so happy about Dr. Steinburg seeing me. He does have a wonderful PA that works along side him BUT you see him.
Dr. Steinberg was so patient and caring. He did a thorough examination and had me have a MRI. He explained in detail what surgical procedure I needed. The surgery was a wonderful success. He ensured that I go to rehab so I could get full use of my left arm again. His instructions were followed to the letter at JOI ReHab on San Jose, Blvd. Blinda, my Physical Therapist was fantastic. After my Rehab I am at 98% and will be at 100% soon. I sleep through the night and wake, up feeling wonderful.
Dr. Steinberg is the Doctor you need to see for shoulder and hand repair. He knows what he is doing and he cover’s all the bases to ensure that the problem your having is fixed. I really don’t think he knows how important he is to the lives of folks like me who have had bad experiences with medical and dealing with pain. How wonderful it is to have someone that knows about your pain and how to repair the issue causing it. MOST OF ALL HE CARES ABOUT YOU

Dr Steinberg is an excellent surgeon. Three months after a surgery to fix a shoulder tear and bicep tear, I am almost back to normal. The rehab team is also great.

Dr. Steinberg and his staff at JOI are outstanding. I saw Dr. Steinberg for an elbow issue that I was having and throughout the whole process he explained everything thoroughly to me and that I needed to have surgery to repair it.
With that being said, I had the pleasure of setting up my surgery with his assistant Gabby, who was absolutely amazing. Day of the surgery everyone at the surgical center was great and my surgery was a success.
I’m on the road now to a full recovery and the physical therapy staff have been extremely helpful with my recovery. If you need surgery, Dr. Steinberg and his staff are the team to see.

Dr. Steinberg is an excellent surgeon. My hand surgery went off without a hitch and my recovery is moving along quicker than I thought it would.

Dr. Steinberg did my first surgery in January 2004. Since that time he has performed eight additional surgeries on my shoulders and hands. He has replaced two shoulders, fused a finger joint, removed a cyst among other things. The latest surgery was 2024. I have never received anything but excellent care from Dr. Steinberg as well as his staff. He answers all questions, he spends time with you, and he addresses your concerns. I have recommended Dr. Steinberg to many friends and acquaintances, and every one of them have been pleased with the service that he has provided. I highly recommend Dr. Steinberg.

Dr. Steinberg not only eliminated my pain, but as a result changed my life. Having worked in medicine for 50 years, I am very critical of doctors and their practice. Dr. Steinberg performed my rotator cuff repair. He and his office staff were very helpful throughout the process explaining what to expect throughout the process. Best of all the surgery was a success and I am pain free!
