I went to Dr. Steinberg for a second opinion after a fall which I broke my shoulder. After months my arm had several issues that were not getting better. Dr. Steinberg carefully went through all the options before he suggested surgery. The surgery was a success. After the surgery and a couple months of therapy I feel like I finally got use of my arm. All I can say is that Dr. Steinberg and his staff are amazing. They were very graceful and caring through the whole process. I can not say enough about the care that I recieved. This was my second rotator surgery. My first one was not a good experience with very little information about the procedure and no surgeon interaction after the procedure. With Dr Steinberg the entire procedure was explained from beginning to end. From the surgery itself to proper and most effective aftercare. Every post-sugical appointment was with Dr Steinberg and any questions that had to be called in were promptly returned by him. The surgery itself did take a little longer than expected but that was due to all of the previous "mess", if you could see the before and after pictures you would agree, he had to fix first. To say it looked like a grenade went off is putting it mildly. The post surgical photos are clean and well repaired. I would definitely recommend Dr Steinberg for this procedure

I came to see Dr. Steinberg after being told that I would just have to live with nerve pain and numbness by another surgeon. That surgery was not recommended without any testing to see what the issue was. When I came in to see Dr. Steinberg he ordered nerve conduction testing and advised me that surgery was possible. I am about three months out from surgery and the shooting nerve pain is gone. I want to thank Dr. Steinberg and his staff for wonderful caring treatment with a great outcome.

Dr. Steinberg is my go to physician for my hands. I had a very successful carpal tunnel release surgery a few years ago, and returned August 19, 2025 for a trigger finger release on the opposite hand. There aren't any visible scars as result of either surgery and my trigger finger was successful. I didn't expect anything less, Dr. Steinberg is a miracle worker.
