Dr Steinberg is an excellent surgeon. Three months after a surgery to fix a shoulder tear and bicep tear, I am almost back to normal. The rehab team is also great.

Dr. Steinberg and his staff at JOI are outstanding. I saw Dr. Steinberg for an elbow issue that I was having and throughout the whole process he explained everything thoroughly to me and that I needed to have surgery to repair it.
With that being said, I had the pleasure of setting up my surgery with his assistant Gabby, who was absolutely amazing. Day of the surgery everyone at the surgical center was great and my surgery was a success.

Dr. Steinberg did my first surgery in January 2004. Since that time he has performed eight additional surgeries on my shoulders and hands. He has replaced two shoulders, fused a finger joint, removed a cyst among other things. The latest surgery was 2024. I have never received anything but excellent care from Dr. Steinberg as well as his staff. He answers all questions, he spends time with you, and he addresses your concerns. I have recommended Dr. Steinberg to many friends and acquaintances, and every one of them have been pleased with the service that he has provided. I highly recommend Dr. Steinberg.

Dr. Steinberg not only eliminated my pain, but as a result changed my life. Having worked in medicine for 50 years, I am very critical of doctors and their practice. Dr. Steinberg performed my rotator cuff repair. He and his office staff were very helpful throughout the process explaining what to expect throughout the process. Best of all the surgery was a success and I am pain free!

Subsequent Review
I had my 1 year post-surgery check up with Dr Steinberg. For starters, I have zero pain, my mobility has returned and my shoulder replacement surgery was successful.

I cannot stress enough just how well I was treated by Dr Steinberg and his team. From the very first appointment to this day, all of the staff at JOI and in particularly Dr Steinberg's office have been exceptional.

Dr Steinberg knows what he’s doing. Although any surgery has risks, he put me at ease about my chances for a favorable outcome in a detailed and very understandable way. Even though the surgery was for thumb arthritis, he was also able to remove a ganglion cyst which had been present for 50 years.
